April 2020
For our April Wellness, we partnered up with HomeAid of Orange County to provide a Panera Bakery breakfast for over 50+ individuals who have been affected or displaced due to homelessness or the Covid-19 pandemic. We know times are tough for everyone, but having compassion and lending a helping hand to those most vulnerable can go a very long way and brighten someone’s day.
In addition to taking care of one another, we also wanted to embrace the ways that Mother Nature takes care of all of us! In honor of Earth Day, each of our staff members were gifted a lovely plant to take home to create their own relaxing environment. Although many of us are still carrying out the shelter in place orders, we are so thankful for the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty that Earth has to offer to us.
March 2020
“Water You Waiting For” is our March Wellness challenge. Our goal is to consume eight or more cups of water per day at home or at work. Each cup should consist of 8 ounces of water with a goal of 64 ounces per day! Drinking this much water is difficult for some of us, but the health benefits are endless with a hydrated body. If you are up for the challenge, take a look at the health benefits below and start hydrating with us!
February 2020
Our February walk unfortunately got rained out, so we took to the next best way to relax! We had a massage therapist come in and provide each of our staff members a relaxing 15 minute massage!

Our team stepped out of the office early to get a bit competitive at the bowling alley! For some of us it was our first time bowling!

Christmas Fridays at Beach Drapery have been off to a festive start! Our team has been in the holiday spirit all month long spreading joy and Christmas cheer.

We collectively gathered 164 pounds of non-perishable food to donate to Secondhand Harvest of Orange County. Thank you to all who contributed!
October 2019
For Breast Cancer Awareness month, we helped support our team member, Katie with her donation efforts as she raised money for her upcoming “Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk” in San Diego. We also had a “Pink Party” to learn about the disease and its symptoms, so that we can each be proactive with our breast health.

Stepping into the Fall! We took our exercise very seriously this month and the team member with the most steps was gifted a spa day.

With such beautiful weather, our team participated in a scavenger hunt around the Stonemill Design Center. Congratulations to the winners!

This Summer, our team spent a beautiful day at the ballpark to cheer on our local baseball team, The Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim.

Eat well, feel well! Each of our staff brought in their favorite meal for a potluck-style lunch event. The catch: make it using natural, healthy ingredients!
